Allana first represented Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following several knee injuries through time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana has also added radio into her arsenal, making regular appearances with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana is also a teacher qualification. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports that include Rugby sevens (rugby league) as well as touch the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' most popular rugby player has to call time on her league career due to tear her ACL 4 times. Ferguson ruptured her ACL four times, at ages 15, 17 and 20. When she was injured the fourth time, did it, her career was over. Ferguson is the JILLAROOS team's lead player. The decision to leave was in the wake of a fourth left ACL injury.
